Not everyone that lives in the northern hemisphere enjoys a cold, white christmas year in year out and certainly those that have the pleasure of living in Africa, feel the need to treat themselves after a long year, to a bit of luxury when deciding on a christmas holiday destination. Here is a list of my top 4 african luxury hotels to book into these holidays

Colonial style architecture with lovely lush green rolling lawns would be how best to describe this Kenyan jewel which has recently been refurbished. Situated just over 10 km’s from the city centre and 20 km’s from Jomo Kenyatta International airport.

Expect to pay: $400 per night

2. The Table Bay, Cape Town, South Africa
