Global luxury brand Chivas Regal launches “The Icon” in Africa

Chivas Regal The Icon is launched as the pinnacle of the Chivas Regal range and a symbol of luxury for a new era. This new addition to the super premium portfolio of the iconic luxury scotch brand was introduced to a select group of consumers at the upmarket Hyde Park shopping centre in Johannesburg.

To commemorate the launch, the brand honoured two iconic South Africans, Mr Mbongeni Ngema, well known writer, lyricist, composer, director and theatre producer as well as Mr John Kani, a South African actor, director and playwright.


The launch of this product to the South African market further highlights the increasing demand for luxury products in African markets.


Chivas The Icon will retail at R50 000 and there are only 24 units available in South Africa.
