South Africa remains a popular luxury travellers destination

South Africa remains one of Africa’s most popular tourist destinations. The countries moderate climate, perceived stability and multifaceted landscape make it an attractive option for luxury seeking holiday makers from all over the globe. The country has a plethora of 5* luxury hotels and resorts, top end recreational activities which rival any in the globe.

Statistics from StatsSA reveal that tourism contribution to GDP has grown from R93.5 billion in to R103.6 billion. Domestic visitors account for 57% of this figure whilst international visitors 43%.

Also on the rise is the number of foreign nationals buying property in South Africa, particularly in the Western Cape, Cape Town, with popular beach front properties in Camps Bay, Bantry Bay and Clifton proving to be sought after addresses.
